01. isolate advertising impact

The concurrence longitudinal design is the only accurate way to isolate in-market advertising impact. This unique methodology involves a two-phase study:

 

   1. Pre-Wave

First, respondents are surveyed on brand KPIs before your campaign starts. This establishes a benchmark and accounts for pre-existing favorability in the post-wave.

  2. Post-Wave

Next, a subset of the same respondents are re-interviewed after your campaign runs. Respondents are asked the same brand KPIs as before, along with questions that assess advertising recall, branding, and diagnostics. 
As in a clinical trial, the power of this design lies in measuring the same individuals over-time and comparing those with and without campaign engagement. Trackers and lift studies can't keep up. That's what makes concurrence the gold standard in advertising research.
